The Tikkurila Range
Walls and Ceilings
Tikkurila Optiva is a water-based scrubbable matt emulsion for walls and ceilings. It’s built for high-traffic areas such as hallways, stairwells and communal spaces, where a durable finish with good hiding power saves you time and callbacks.
Adhesion Primers
Tikkurila Otex is an adhesion primer for tricky surfaces where a standard primer won’t give you the grip you need. It’s available as a water-based Otex Akva and a solvent-based Otex, so you can choose the system that suits the job and the site.
Wood and Metal
Tikkurila Everal Aqua is a water-based system for wood and metal, so you can prime and topcoat joinery, doors, radiators and other metalwork from one range. Because it’s water-based, it’s low odour and your tools clean up in water. We stock the primer and three topcoat finishes: Primer, Gloss 80, Semi-Matt 40 and Matt 10.
Interior Woodwork
Tikkurila Helmi is a water-based enamel range for doors, skirting, window frames and other interior woodwork. It’s available in matt, satin and other finishes, so you can match the sheen to the spec. Helmi also has a water-based primer for woodwork, so you can run the full system from one brand.
Why Decorators Choose Tikkurila
Tikkurila has built its reputation with professionals on durable, water-based coatings that cut down on odour and keep working conditions pleasant. The range covers walls, ceilings, primers, woodwork and metalwork, so you can specify a consistent system across a job instead of mixing brands. Tikkurila also has a strong sustainability story, with low-VOC and water-based formulations that matter to clients who ask about environmental impact.
