Tikkurila Optiva Primer is a water-based, deep matt acrylic primer for interior walls and ceilings. It evens out how much paint the surface soaks up, so your topcoat covers better, goes further and dries to a uniform finish – and it gives the topcoat a strong key to grip. Use it on new plaster, plasterboard, cement-lime render and concrete. Touch dry in about an hour and ready for any topcoat after 4 hours. Very low VOC (under 1.5 g/L) and EU Ecolabel certified. Choose White, or tinted to a light shade of your topcoat colour.
At Dawes on Goldhawk Road, Shepherd's Bush, we tint Optiva Primer to order while you wait. We can tint it towards your topcoat colour (light shades only). Call us on 020 8748 6711 or pop in.
